Moving, Insanity, etc.

Sorry it's been so quiet here. Life got hectic and I'm just kind of enjoying the flow.....(insert a Jack Johnson song and can someone pass a margarita?)

Here's the news:

I've moved to Williamsburg! Huzzah! I've gotten a job in the historic district that is only for the summer (as of now), but hopefully something permanent will come from this. Keeping fingers crossed etc so on and so forth.

With that in mind, I really don't know what will happen to my blogging. I will be doing a lot more sewing, I still have more "Scott Sisters" stuff to show you, and I still need to discuss my survey results (this is kind of like my Masters dissertation, I need to step away from the research for a while to decompress), and being in Williamsburg, I'm going to be doing a hell of a lot more sewing (post Sapphire's gown and my stays need to be finished...so. close....sooooo....close!)

So, that's about the extent of it. The job starts on Monday and I've been running around like a chicken with my head cut off trying to get everything taken care of. Things should slow down once the job has settled in, etc.

That's it for now!

  1. Congrats on the job--just livin' the dream, sister! I hope it develops into something permanent for you...or that you find something else incredible to move on to at summer's end. All best!! Can't wait to read more about your time in CW!

Let me know if I can do any thing to help - local advice, rush sewing, or a friendly ear to complain to!
